ETV Broadcast Automation Software
Synergy Broadcast's VLM Broadcast Automation Software automates all the tasks you need to:
- Process new content for ETV playback.
- Schedule hours, days, weeks or months in advance.
- Schedule remotely or import your schedule from another program.
- Playback seamlessly from single or multiple sources.
- Archive content automatically to protect your assets.
- Backup your files automatically.
Beginning with content acquisition VLM automates the movement of files through your system to reduce errors and speed delivery of finished files. Your ETV staff is tight and pressed for time. Using VLM you can schedule any program for recording or encoding regardless of source (satellite, live event, tape, digtal file, etc.). Once recorded the file moves automatically to production, storage or playback as needed to free up operators for other duties.
Scheduling is seamless and includes a variety of ways to create a schedule. Not just one or two ways but multiple ways such as importing from a traffic system, spreadsheet or database, mass program scheduling using fast and easy drag 'n drop, block scheduling to lock in time slots for specific programs or a series, copy and paste to one or multiple days, remote scheduling using a laptop or smartphone or direct network access from another department so you can create and update schedules when and how you need too. VLM includes "conflict resolution" checking so it's impossible to double schedule devices or programs and the system will notify you when a file is not available or missing and needs to be located to avoid an "on-air" error.
Important housekeeping duties such as schedule back-ups, file back-ups and archiving function automatically without operator intervention and the system can also create reports either automatically or manually to meet reporting and administrative requirements.
