BugCrawler for Logo Insertion, Scrolls and Crawls

The BugCrawler is a very simple-to-use graphics generator designed to do two things and do them well...insert logos and run crawls.  But you can do more. 

BugCrawler provides eight layers of graphics or text so you can insert your full color or transparent logo, display the TV ratings symbols for each program, run crawls, alerts and more.  BugCrawler makes it easy to display professional looking projects, crawls and multi-layered graphics effects over your on-air programming.

• Create multi-layered templates for “you are watching” and “what’s up next” alerts to display over each program.  The VLM Automation System automatically inserts the text from the database.

Multi-layered projects are easy to create using the BugCrawler Creation Software.  Import graphics and backgrounds from virtually any source or graphics program.  Use the program to create your layout.  Objects can be placed and aligned in any location by just moving the mouse.  Motion and animations can be included to add visual interest.  Once your layout and special effects are set you can save the project and upload it to the BugCrawler Engine by pushing the “Publish” icon.  No networking issues or complicated file paths to remember.

Using VLM (Synergy Broadcast’s Automation Software) events can be triggered as part of the automation system.  Bugs can be set to display in a sequence or a timed activity along with TV Ratings.  Crawls, Scrolls or “You are Watching” templates can also be scheduled to pop up during a show.  You create the template and the VLM software uploads the text from the title database to totally automate the process thus saving huge amounts of operator time manually typing this information.
